South Korea's overall industrial output dropped last month... mainly due to a fall in semiconductor production.<br />According to Statistics Korea, industrial output in December decreased by 0-point-6 percent from the previous month. <br />The agency said... the decline was due to less production in the chip and auto industries.<br />Semiconductor production dropped by 4-point-5 percent... due to lower demand.<br />Equipment investment also dropped by 0-point-4 percent...mainly in the machinery sector.<br />Both production and investment have declined for two consecutive months. <br />
